food & wine tours

Choose your wine tour:

1.  Alentejo Experience

Immerse yourself in the beauty, the history and the food & wine of the region. On this food and wine tour, we will visit two very different wineries where the winemaker will personally lead our tasting and share with us the stories of the grapes, the wines and the land. Lunch will be in one of the most beloved restaurants of the region, where the iconic foods of Alentejo share space with local wines. Along the way, we will indulge in olive oil, tapas and dessert tastings.

Enjoy the Alentejo Experience (above) wine tour in the coolness of a beautifully restored vintage car. We will travel from Lisbon to Evora in a luxury sedan, where we will pick up our driver and our vintage car. We’ll spend the afternoon touring the vineyards from Evora to Estremoz and return to Evora in the late afternoon. We’ve provided a sampling of our car inventory in the images below, but inventory changes frequently. Please call us to check availability of specific cars.

3.  Alentejo Family Adventure

On this fun-filled private family tour, we’ll explore a traditional Alentejano farm, visit the animals and taste cheeses, jams, liquors and honey. Lunch will be served family-style in a tradtional tasca (tavern). Later, in an organic vineyard, the adults will taste wines with the winemaker while the kids create their own “blends”. Before returning to Lisbon, we’ll visit an ancient Roman temple and a chapel made from bones in the UNESCO world-heritage city of Evora.
